Aquaglide Blackfoot 160 DS Angler
The Aquaglide Blackfoot 160 DS Angler Kayak is very versatile and stable, making it ideal for recreational kayaking as well as fishing alone or with a companion. It takes a little longer to inflate than other kayaks due to its size, but it is one of the best inflatable kayaks because it has a tonne of storage and other advantages.
Razor Kayaks X2 High-Pressure
All of your needs are met by the Razor X2 High-Pressure Kayak. Although pricey, it is our top 2-person inflatable kayak of 2024 because of its sturdy design, simplicity of inflation and deflation, comfort and storage capacity for hours of paddling.
KXOne Slider 375
The KXOne Slider 375 is a full drop-stitch hull designed for maximum firmness and cut-through. It handles well, though has slightly more drag than comparable models. Read on for our full detailed review.
Aquaglide Blackfoot 130 DS Angler
The Aquaglide Blackfoot 130 DS Angler has all the bells and whistles needed in a fishing kayak. It’s engineered for stability with a dropstitch floor and well-shaped hull, and thoughtfully designed to include room for tackle boxes, rods and other storage.
Razor Kayaks Edge Pro Kayak
A hard shell foldable kayak that doesn't require inflation, the Razor Kayaks Edge Pro is a great kayak that glides through the water at pace. It was probably the fastest kayak we tested and we loved the ability to fully enclosed the deck. This is a great choice for recreational or semi serious paddlers looking for something close to a hard shell.
Razor Kayaks R1 Ultra Kayak
This is a light portable kayak that is stable and handles well in the water. The drop stitch floor provides an excellent surface to paddle against and it's really easy to setup and pack away.
Razor Kayaks X1 High-Pressure Kayak
The Razor Kayaks X1 High-Pressure is an excellent kayak that performs well in the water. There is good storage space, it's easy to manoeuvre and great fun to paddle. The solid all Tech-Stitch design and removable fin provide all the best elements of a traditional kayak. If we could only have one kayak this would be it.
Intex Excursion Pro K1 Kayak
For the price this kayak tracks surprisingly well, is fairly stable and isn't too hard to handle. Our main knocks on it are that it's made with thin materials that may be susceptible to puncture and it's slow in the water. Easy to dry, it's an ok budget option but only for recreational use in good conditions.
Decathlon Itiwit Cruising Kayak
Decathlon's Itiwit Cruising Kayak comes at an affordable price and small packed size, however feels slow and bulky in the water and takes a long time to dry. Read our review for evaluation across Construction, Portability, Setup/Pack Down, Comfort and Performance.
Intex Challenger K1 Kayak
This is definitely the cheapest kayak we tested and in our opinion it does feel more like a pool toy than a kayak. It handles ok and is easy to dry but the cockpit is hard to squeeze into and the thin materials make it susceptible to puncture.
Aquaglide Navarro 110 Kayak
We love the stability and comfort of this kayak. It also has some great storage for taking on an overnight trip. Our main issues are the setup/ pack down and speed in the water. We really noticed the width and it was a bit hard to manoeuvre this kayak around.
Decathlon Itiwit Strenfit X500 Kayak
On paper this should be a great kayak. It certainly delivers on the speed and is the closest inflatable kayak in terms of design to a hard shell. It's a bit heavy to carry but the main issue we have is the lack of stability and less than great finish quality of the build.
Advanced Elements Straitedge Kayak
Spacious and stable, this is a great kayak for beginners or someone who wants the option to go fishing without committing to a full-fledged fishing kayak. Suitable for class 3 rapids it certainly won't fall apart on you either. In terms of performance it is a bit slow in the water and doesn't track that well in a straight line.
Sea Eagle 300X Explorer Kayak
The Sea Eagle 300X Explorer is compact, quick to set up and easy to pack down. Compared to some of the other top end models however it doesn't perform as well in the water. Its wide base does provide a bit of extra stability but it does make it a harder to paddle, with straight line speed and tracking suffering a bit.
Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame Kayak
This is a comfortable kayak that performs pretty well in the water. Tracking really well in a straight line it is also easy to manoeuvre. With all the inflation points it does take time to setup and you need to wait a day or two for it to dry before putting it back in the bag which isn't very practical.
Advanced Elements Expedition Elite Kayak
Really solid in the water with a good storage capacity, this is an enjoyable kayak to paddle. The cockpit is comfortable and there is a curved bar the lifts the deck to give you the little bit of extra space you need for your legs.
Oru Beach LT Kayak
A hard shell foldable kayak that doesn't require inflation. The Oru Beach LT is a lightweight durable kayak that handles well in the water. It is a expensive, the thin seat design is a bit less comfortable than some others it could also benefit from deck strips to enclose and strengthen it overall.
OA Hanlu 4P Tent
The OA Hanlu 4P is a strong easy to set up tent that will last for years. It's missing a power inlet but has all the other basic features you would need. Our only real knock on it is that its clearance height of 185cm is a bit low for us. Great option though if you don't need the height and are just looking for a sturdy reliable tent.
OA Comfort Camper XL10
The Comfort Camper XL10 is a minimalist tent. The setup time is about 10 mins which means this is better suited to longer camping trips where you are not moving around. The pole materials will stand up to the elements but it's light on features. In saying that the price is right and it does provide a large roomy space to live.
