The Vango Nevis 200 is a serviceable tent for the price. Its tunnel design makes it a bit tricky to set up and the interior space is fairly tight. The main feature is that you can set up the tent without getting the inner wet. We struggled with the lack of interior and storage space.

The Naturehike Cloud-Up 2 tent is a basic option with minimal storage space. While it is easy to setup, waterproof and lightweight the lack of interior space made for an uncomfortable night's sleep

The Black Wolf Wasp UL is a well constructed tent that will last for years. Our big knock on it is that it's a whopping 3kg which makes it in our eyes too heavy for hiking.

This is a good quality, spacious hiking tent perfect for short hiking trips and camping. We prefer a more lightweight option for longer trips but really this is a great tent that will last for years and keep you dry. We love the large interior space.

The OA Hiker Pro is great value for money. With all the features of some of the high end tents but at almost half the price this is a great buy. Well constructed with quality materials at 2.1kg it's still fairly lightweight and its compact packed size means it fits easily in the pack. Easy to setup and with good features overall we though this was a fantastic tent.

This is the best pure hiking tent we reviewed. Incredibly lightweight for a tent of this quality, with good features and large vestibules. The tapered design can be a bit narrow and the materials aren't as strong as some of the others we reviewed.

A great allrounder with generous living space and high quality construction. Easy single pole setup, high privacy screens and symmetrical living space make this a very practical tent.
