Our Analysis & Ratings

If you’re the type of person who needs plenty of storage, the Oztrail Folding Table might be for you. As long as you’re camping with a cover, as the table won’t last in the weather, it’s got our weight, versatility and storage boxes all ticked, making it perfect for those who love cooking and working outdoors.

Performance - The table can hold up to 30kg, which means it will hold all your kitchen essentials or gear when out at camp. With a tabletop of 120x60cm, there’s enough space to cook on and it can go to heights of 53, 70 and 81cm, which is great for helping you not hunch your back. It would be nice if you could adjust the legs to whichever height you like, though, and it does have a slight wobble at times. Also, keep in mind that it’s not a table for comfortable eating, due to the storage underneath, meaning you can’t tuck your legs underneath.

Construction - The frame is made with strong yet lightweight aluminium and the tabletop is foldable, meaning you take it off when packing away. This tabletop is made with MDF, which, while not the most durable, it’s easy to clean and has a melamine finish. The storage cupboard underneath is made from 600D polyester. Just make sure not to leave it out in the weather as the table can warp and crack.

Features - While with some tables, you can add hooks underneath for some storage, the Oztrail Folding Table has it built in, which means thought and durability have been added to the design. It’s strong enough to hold pots and pans and comes with smaller pockets inside to help with organisation at camp. Along with the MDF shelves, you should have plenty of storage for your kitchen setup. What’s more, the table’s legs can be adjusted in multiple height positions, helping both with different height requirements and helping to stabilise the table on varied terrains.

Portability - The aluminium helps keep the weight down in this table, and at 6.7kg, it’s lighter than other tables on our list. It packs down to 61x62x8cm and comes with a 600D carry bag, so it’s a breeze to carry around.

Versatility - The table checks off your versatility needs, being quick and easy to use, having storage and having adjustable legs. It’s not too heavy, either, making it great for both a one-night or extended stay.

Overall - If you’re looking for storage for longer camping trips, the Oztrail Folding Table is a handy upgrade to store all your camping gear.
