If you’re looking for a handy table to take camping with you, the BlackWolf Bamboo Slat Camping Table is lightweight but durable for your camping needs. While it’s not the fanciest of tables with a bunch of added features, it’s a decent option for a small family.
Performance - For a family of four, the BlackWolf Bamboo Slat Camping Table can comfortably seat everyone around it. The bamboo top means it’s not too slippery for glasses and the overall size makes it quite versatile, whether you want to use it for dinner, playing games or doing work. Bamboo is also weather resistant, which is great for its longevity. As with most slatted designs, though, be careful of the gaps between the slats so your drink doesn’t get caught and topple over.
Construction - The table’s frame is made from lightweight aluminium while the slats are from bamboo, giving the table both a stylish look and also some grip to prepare food on. It can be a bit confusing to set up in the beginning, and sometimes the clamp around the legs doesn’t clamp properly.
Features - The table doesn’t come with many added features, other than its slatted design for a smaller packed size. It does come with a carry bag, though, which not all tables do. It also comes with one leg being slightly adjustable, meaning if you’re on uneven terrain, you can stabilise the table so it’s not rocky.
Portability - It comes with a carry bag to easily pick it up and move it around when packed away and it’s easy to set up and pack down, too. It’s a tad heavy, though, at 8kg, and packs down to 103x11x18cm.
Versatility - Being foldable, the BlackWolf Bamboo Slat Camping Table is great for camping when you have a car to transport all your gear. It can be stabilised on slightly uneven ground, although this is only on one of the legs, which, while would be nice if all legs were adjustable, is found on many other tables, too.
Overall - For a durable table, the BlackWolf Bamboo Slat Camping Table is a decent offering, but there are better, and cheaper, options on the market.
