Our Analysis & Ratings
The Teton Leef 0F has a good minimalist design, the stated temperature rating we think may be embellished but it should be ok for most Australian conditions, with a comfortable interior microfibre and solid outer shell. It is heavy though at 1.9kg - but for the price it is a very decent bag.
Comfort - The microfibre lining takes a bit of getting used to for those of us used to the traditional polyester but this is a comfy bag without a doubt. Warm enough, but not as warm as some of the other bags we reviewed.
Construction - This is a well constructed bag with a 40D treated nylon shell. Some of the draft tubes could be more substantial but overall it's a good construction for the price.
Features - Minimalist design but with most of the basic key features you need. Draft tubes, anti snag zippers, foot box, zipper storage pocket.
Size/Weight - Packed size of 38x22cm and weight of 1.9kg. This was the heaviest bag we reviewed.
Versatility - Heavier than we would like to hike with but for the price this is a decent bag if you're mainly looking to camp.
Overall - Good value for a budget option.
