Our Analysis & Ratings

The Comfort Camper XL10 is a minimalist tent. The setup time is about 10 mins which means this is better suited to longer camping trips where you are not moving around. The pole materials will stand up to the elements but it's light on features. In saying that the price is right and it does provide a large roomy space to live.

Comfort - A large tent that has two generous size rooms with doors opening to each. Its large awning provides extra undercover space and the high celling gives a spacious feel.

Construction - The XL10 is made of basic polyester materials with a steel and fibreglass frame. This is an old-style construction that isn't on the same level as some of the more expensive options.

Features - Old-style separate pole construction. Has pockets and a removable wall but nowhere to hang a lantern or power access points. Longer 10min setup time.

Size/ Weight - With a sleeping size of 12sqm, weight of 17kg and head height of 220cm, it’s a good size for a larger tent. We were able to fit two queens or four single airbeds with a bit of extra room to move around. Lightweight, compact and easy to handle, and the high ceilings made it very liveable.

Versatility - Given the setup is a bit more time consuming we feel this is not a good option for touring but should be fine for basic camping trips.

Overall - Spacious but takes a long time to set up.
